Happy new year’s!

We hope all you have had a fabulous year full of glam and success! 2018 has been one heck of a year for City Color, but we aren’t stopping here just yet. With a new year comes new beginnings, new goals, and of course, new products! Being our fabulous selves, we just had to walk out of 2018 with a spark. We are excited to announce that we are bringing to you all a new beauty outlet, our City Color Blog!

With this blog, we hope to equip you with the best beauty tips in the city. We want all of our City Babes to have access to easy, fun, and educational beauty tips. Not only will we be spilling beauty secrets, we will also be sharing sneak peaks of all the wild items we have coming this new year for you all. Anything from seasonal must have’s to how to’s, were ready to keep you informed and educated to essentially help you master the art of beauty!

The last tip of the year, but definitely a good tip for the new year. Make sure you keep your skin hydrated! Winter is upon us which means the cold and dry is getting ready to come for our skin and suck out all the moisture we can possibly have. Just when we thought we had conquered and regained our skin after summer and fall, a new challenge is here to face us. But don’t fret, our Tea Tree Primer Oil is the perfect weapon to defeat the cold and dry during the harsh winters. It’s unique formula, enriched with tea tree, may soothe dry skin in the rigid winter season.

Regardless of the season, I like to keep my skin hydrated and healthy. Which is why every season, my skin care routine changes. During the summer my skin is very oily. So, one of my favorite products to use during the summer is the Original Primer Oil because it does the job of hydrating my skin without leaving an oily residue behind. The Original Primer Oil is vegan, lightweight, and also infused with Vitamin E. It even minimizes the appearance of pores and can be applied anywhere from the face, to split ends and cuticles! Although the Original Primer Oil is perfect for summer, during the winter my skin gets very dry. The cold weather consumes all my moisture, and if I don’t do anything to keep it moisturized on a daily basis it will start to get dry like the Sahara desert. Yuck!

Hydrated skin is very important, especially when using face makeup. If your skin is dry and lacking hydration, your makeup will not last very long. Lets all be honest, no one wants to be going about their day with flaky makeup.
