Great dupe for higher end palettes Review by Darci
Review
I wanted to get into contouring or try it out, but was not about to pay those ridiculous prices for the higher end ones. This worked just as nice. I got the sequel because I'm lighter skinned and thought it would work best with my skin tone. I was right! They don't blend as well as I thought they would, but with just a little work, it looked amazing. (Posted on 8/3/16)

Good beginners kit Review by Anna

I bought this knowing that the original contour kit would be way too orangey for me. This one is nice and neutral, almost gray toned. I'm enjoying it so far. Kinda disappointed that the contour color is shimmery to me. The bronzer is matte though. I like using the two to sculpt my face. The highlighter is shimmery as well so I just apply it on my cheekbones, cuspids bow, tip of my nose, and chin. I always apply a lighter concealer in these areas as well as my under eyes and forehead. (Posted on 1/14/16)
Marvelous Review by Rae

I decided to get this palette over the first one solely because I heard that this is a better color for lighter skin. This product is the perfect color for my fair skin, and it blends really well. Will definitely be ordering again once this runs out. (Posted on 12/9/15)
So much better than the original contour effects palette Review by Jacki
Review
I bought the original contour effects palette a while ago based on some YouTubers recommendations. That one is really good if you're not super fair-skinned like myself. The darkest color in that palette is so dark it looks nearly black on me. The contour effects 2 palette, however, is AMAZING. I recently bought the Smashbox contour kit in the light shade and that has the best contour shade I've ever used. It's very cool toned, but not so much so that it looks almost purply like the NYX taupe "blush". This palette has the same exact contour and bronzer color as the Smashbox kit! The only difference between the two are the highlighters (and the price, of course! haha). The Smashbox highlight is a more matte yellow color and this one has more of a silver/white shimmery highlight. It's not glittery though, which I can appreciate. All in all, this is such a great palette and I'm really happy I bought this. (Posted on 11/11/15)
