Surprised Review by SmoochieFace

I was talked into buying this by a friend of mine who pushed me to go "outside my comfort zone" of neutrals. This is definitely NOT something I'd normally buy, but I was pleasantly surprised by the colors. I expected them to be completely obnoxious on my fair skin, but they really weren't. It's not because they aren't pigmented, because they swatch really bright and shiny. But they are very blendable and ended up giving me a very soft look with bright colors (if that makes any sense). Like most City Color palettes though, no matte shades. (Posted on 9/6/16)

Okay, so I ordered this as part of my first ever order from City Color. I was the most excited about this. I know it is hard to tell what a cosmetic is going to be like from a monitor/screen, but for some reason I thought a couple of these would be matte. I was wrong, they all have some sparkle to them, and really with a name like Sprinkle, it probably should. I don't dislike this and I don't love it at the same time? I'm sure that sounds strange. I know I will have no trouble being able to use this, it just wasn't all I was hoping for, and that's not the fault of the palette. (Posted on 3/21/16)
